Birds

The reserve is great for birds, but they are difficult to photograph well, and I am not a good photographer! The hope is that I will slowly build up a set of photographs and descriptions of some of the birds on the reserve.
At this stage, most of the birds listed below, have their own separate page, which you can access by clicking on the name. There are very few photos.

In April 2013 I monitored the bird feeder, and the largest number of visitors were Great Tits, Nuthatches and Blue Tits, with a large number of Long Tailed Tits and Greater Spotted Woodpeckers and a small number of Robins
