Moth trapping

As mentioned on the main butterflies & moths page, a survey was taken on 10 May 2011, when a large white sheet was spread on the ground and bright lights were set up and moths were awaited, and identified as they blundered around and landed on the sheet.
A couple of traps were also set up with lamps and what looked like an array of egg trays - these were examined at the end of the evening.

If you click in the green box to the right of this note - labelled Moth Monitoring 10-, then you will open an excel spreadsheet with the species list of the specimens found that night.
