Roe Deer

Roe Deer are very common on the site, and are seen almost every day.There are four pictures of Roe Deer below (including one of a running fawn, that I disturbed in Orchid Bottom) and one of two yound deer sparring in the snow, that I managed to catch with my Trail camera. There are two short videos that you can see by clicking on the buttons below this text box.
 

All deer are attractive to look at, but tend to cause damage to trees - a typical example is also shown below, where the deer have stripped large sections of the bark off an Ash tree - if they complete the circle and remove the bark all around the tree, then it will die.
