Roe Deer

Roe Deer are very common on the site, and are seen almost every day.There are four pictures of Roe Deer below (including one of a running fawn, that I disturbed in Orchid Bottom) and one of two yound deer sparring in the snow, that I managed to catch with my Trail camera. All deer are attractive to look at, but tend to cause damage to trees - a typical example is also shown below, where the deer have stripped large sections of the bark off an Ash tree - if they complete the circle and remove the bark all around the tree, then it will die.
